Getting your kids to sleep at bedtime may seem like a nightmare for some parents, but this need not be the case.

Here are just a few tips on how you can help your little one get a great night’s sleep:

💫 Have a similar bedtime routine each night
💫 Have your little one relax or slow down before bedtime. This is usually achieved with the help of a sleep routine
💫 For older children, ensure they are not sleeping too much, or too late, in the day
💫 Check the temperature of your child’s room - cool is best!
💫 Prior to lights out, make sure that the light and noise in the room is kept to a bare minimum
💫 Have your kids get a load of natural light in the day. It will help set the body clock for night time
💫 Avoid sugary foods and drinks in the late afternoon
💫 Have your child eat enough at dinner time, however make sure they’re not eating too late - it can lead to a restless night.
